Flights to Georgetown from the UK & Ireland

There are no direct flights to Georgetown from the UK, or from anywhere else in Europe.

Finding through connections to Georgetown can be ridiculously difficult - I have been quoted the best part of £2,300 for a return from London - and that is still in economy class! Even if you shop around a little, don't expect much change out of £1,000.

The problem with Guyana is that, despite its relative proximity to the Caribbean chain of islands, connections which are well timed to co-ordinate with BA or Virgin's Caribbean flights are few and far between.

flights to the Caribbean are expensive enough anyway, without adding on the cost of an extra leg down to Georgetown - and forget about other neighbouring countries which don't have flights from the UK either, and which are also not linked to Georgetown.
