bmibaby, the award winning airline with tiny fares, is expanding the range of destinations on offer this summer from Manchester Airport with the launch of a daily service to the popular Balearic Island of Ibiza.

Seats on the new route go on sale today, Thursday 19 February 2004 at bmibaby.com from just £25.94 one way, including all taxes and charges and the new service starts on 29 May 2004. This brings the total number of destinations served this summer from Manchester Airport by bmibaby to thirteen and the number of Spanish destinations to six.

bmibaby is now launching five new routes from Manchester Airport this summer - Bordeaux, Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Jersey, Knock and now Ibiza.

David Hodge, marketing director, bmibaby, commented on the airline's rapid expansion:
"We're celebrating our first anniversary of services from Manchester on 1 May and by that time we'll have added five brand new destinations to our portfolio. We remain committed to developing low cost links throughout Europe from our North West base and to offering a range of destinations to suit the needs of our passengers, from regular business travellers to the traditional leisure traveller."

bmibaby flies to destinations within the UK as well as Spain, Ireland, France, the Channel Islands and the Czech republic from Manchester Airport.
