CAA STATISTICS CONFIRM RYANAIR IS SCOTLAND'S No.1
INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE

Ryanair was confirmed by official CAA statistics as Scotland's No.1 international airline for 2003. The statistics confirmed Ryanair carried 1.12M international passengers to/from Scotland during the year - a massive 50% MORE passengers than the No.2 international airline KLM - BA was a poor fourth, with Easyjet in ninth place.

Celebrating today, Ryanair's Head of Communications, Paul Fitzsimmons said:
"Ryanair's confirmation as Scotland's International airline is cause for celebration - and we can toast a dram or two to over 1 million Scots and visitors to Scotland who chose Ryanair's unbeatable low fares, punctuality and customer service.

This year is even better - Ryanair will carry 2.5 Million passengers to/from Scotland, saving consumers over £250M on the prices of high fares airlines."
