Flights from Glasgow International are available to a wide range of domestic and European business and holiday destinations. Glasgow International also boasts a wider range of long-haul routes than Scotland's busiest airport, Edinburgh.

Glasgow is served by two airports - the main Glasgow International (GLA), and the budget airline oriented Glasgow Prestwick (PIK). The differences in convenience between using Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick are less pronounced than they are in many other European cities - Prestwick might be 30 miles away from the city centre, compared to Glasgow International's ten, but it does at least have its own dedicated railway station, with substantial discounts available for Prestwick airport users. Road access has been improved significantly since the upgrading of the M77.

Why are the so few flights to Germany from Glasgow - basically just Berlin, and nothing from Prestwick? I don't mind using Edinburgh Airport, but it is a bit of a poor showing for Scotland's largest city.

  There are two things there that I hope we can make a bit clearer in the next few weeks as we tweak the site (we only relaunched it over the Christmas period).
  
  Firstly, if you are looking for UK domestic flights, to and from are interchangeable - the page title (top of browser) does say from & to - I have changed that on the Glasgow (both) page to be clearer. You've highlighted a bug there that we'd overlooked - we're checking through all the time but sometimes we can't see things right before our eyes!
  
  Secondly, the routes are listed alphabetically, so International comes before Prestwick. We're looking at displaying more than the 10 routes per page we do at present so it is easier to browse - but you can order by departure airport, destination or airline. If you go to the pages for the individual airports (Prestwick or International), you can also order by country. All lists can be narrowed down - e.g. type Spa, and it will narrow down just to show flights to Spain.
  
  As it happens, Glasgow International is your best bet for domestic flights anyway, as there aren't any domestic flights to/from Prestwick, apart from to Derry - or to Dublin (flights to Ireland count as domestic).
  
  I hope that helps - we are trying to make things as clear as possible, but space is always limited on route tables for cities with multiple airports.
