I'm not a skier, and I don't do packages, so flights to Lleida are of little interest to me personally, even though the airport is quite snazzy.
However, if I wanted to visit the city itself, I would just get a flight to Barcelona, from where an easy fast transfer service is available by train.
Local services operate every half an hour from Barcelona Airport to Sants station, but you will need to allow extra time if using the new terminal 1. See our Barcelona page for more about flights to Barcelona and surface connections.
The train to Sants takes just 19 minutes from Barcelona Airport terminal 2, and the AVE or Avant train to Lleida takes around an hour.
Lleida is roughly equidistant between Barcelona and Zaragoza, but the latter has very few UK flights, so don't waste your time looking.
For an alternative way to reach the destinations in Andorra which are served by the Thomas Cook charter flights, you will be much better off looking at flights or ski packages via Toulouse.
