Flight Summary
Gibraltar has a limited range of inbound flights from the UK, including a well established service from Monarch Scheduled. Alternatively, find flights to Malaga, Jerez or Seville, from where onward coach services to Gibraltar are available. Following years of political tension, the UK and Spanish government are finally talking about opening up Gibraltar airport to usage by both parties. This should help provide more opportunities for flights to The Rock and nearby resort towns, as Gibrlatar currently does not have any flight links with any other airports outside the UK. Gibraltar could provide much needed relief for the fast expanding western reaches of the Costa Del Sol, which are still heavily dependent on congested Malaga.
Destination Summary
The crown colony of Gibraltar offers a slice of yesteryear Britain at the mouth of the Mediterranean - much to the chagrin of its Spanish neighbours.

Mark Says
Handed over by the Spain at the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713, Gibraltar is one of the last bastions of the British Empire, Gibraltar is a slice of old fashioned Britannia at the mouth of the Mediterranean. The Spanish are desperate to have the Rock back, but Gibraltar's residents remain fiercely loyal to the crown.
