All direct flights to Montserrat from the UK & Ireland

Flight summary

There are no direct flights from the UK to Montserrat, indeed there were no flights at all (apart from a sporadic helicopter service) to the Caribbean island for almost a decade following the closure of W.H Bramble airport in the aftermath of the 1997 volcanic eruptions. The airport was covered in a sea of ash, and is too vulnerable from further eruptions to ever be opened again.

In July 2005 a new airport finally opened on the more stable northern half of the island, but the availability of flights to Montserrat has still fluctuated dramatically. Please see our flights to Montserrat Airport page for further details.
