Niki are the budget airline set up by former Grand Prix star Niki Lauda after he sold his holiday airline Lauda Air to the Austrian Airlines group. Niki are based in Vienna, from where they operate cheap flights to a wide range of European cities, with a particular focus on holiday destinations in Spain and Portugal. Niki also offer regular cheap flights from London to Vienna. Niki have a marketing partnership with German airline Air Berlin, enabling them to sell each other's flights. Some of Air Berlin's onward flights from Palma in Majorca are operated by Niki on their behalf. Niki are a high quality budget airline, offering free newspapers, snacks and drinks - and as with Air Berlin, their sandwiches would be well worth paying for anyway.Quick Facts
