Despite the EU not approving the merger between Aegean Airlines and the newly formed Olympic Air (from the shell of former national carrier Olympic Airlines), Aegean Airlines are now the main Greek carrier on flights from London to Athens, with additional services operating to Larnaca in Cyprus.

If you are sold flights to Athens with Olympic Air, these will be operated by Aegean.

Is their flight to Larnaca direct, or is there a change in Athens?

  Tessalonigeek, yes, the flights are direct and non stop, not through Athens. We only list direct flights, ie no change of plane, and within Europe, this almost always means non-stop too.

Olympic Air and Olympic Airlines? It sounds like the People's Front of Judea and the Judean People's Front, although judging by your cartoons, you guys might be too young to get this reference!

  I grew up watching Monty Python videos, so I'm happy to say I get the reference! You make a very valid point - Swissair becoming Swiss was a similar story.
