Transavia are a Dutch based budget airline which operate cheap flights from both Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Faced with strong levels of competition from Easyjet, who have a much stronger brand presence, Transavia, who were formerly known as Basiqair, moved their flights from Stansted to Amsterdam over to Rotterdam. The Rotterdam flights have now moved from Stansted to Luton!
Transavia are now owned by the KLM/Air France group.
