Air Southwest are a rapidly expanding Devon-based regional airline, owned by Sutton Harbour Holdings, who also operate Plymouth Airport. The airline was formed after British Airways pulled the plug on its flights from London to Plymouth and Newquay, leaving the West Country deprived of a vital air link. Since its launch, Air Southwest has undergone rapid expansion, developing a network of routes from Plymouth, Newquay, and most recently from Bristol. As well as providing high-frequency shuttle flights to London, Air Southwest have also developed a number of links to various cities in northern England, with a particular focus on Leeds and Manchester.
