Air Berlin Flights: Airline Profile and Routes Information

Profile:
Air Berlin is Germany's largest budget airline, with operations bases throughout the country. Additionally, Air Berlin has a major hub in Palma (Majorca) through which it offers transfer connections to a huge range of cities within the Iberian peninsula. More recently Air Berlin has set up a hub at London Stansted in an attempt to muscle into the already overcrowded UK domestic market.
Air Berlin position themselves firmly at the quality end of the no-frills spectrum, being one of the few budget airlines to offer connecting flights as well as free drinks and snacks on board (the sandwiches are actually so good you wouldn’t begrudge paying for them).
The name Air Berlin is a bit of a misnomer as they operate flights from numerous cities within Germany, with a relatively limited operation at Berlin's heavily congested Tegel airport. The airline's major connections hub is actually in the Bavarian city of Nuremberg.
