Flights to Hawaii - overview
Although Hawaii is still popular with UK visitors, other tropical destinations such as the Caribbean, or the Seychelles and the Maldives in the Indian Ocean tend to be easier to get to, as they are much closer to Europe. Although there are no non-stop flights to Hawaii from the UK, there are numerous possibilities of finding connecting flights there.
Note that the US state of Hawaii encompasses all of the Hawaiian Islands, the largest of which is also called Hawaii. However, the most popular destination is the city of Honolulu (HNL), which is on the island of Oahu.
There are plenty of flights to Honolulu from numerous cities in the USA and Canada, with many people also choosing to take a stopover on Oahu on the way to Australia or New Zealand. Note that although none of the other islands have regular transpacific flights, Kona (KOA) and Hilo (ITO) on the island of Hawaii, Lihue (LIH) on Kauai Island and Kahului (OGG) on Maui do have regular links with various cities in mainland North America.
There are, of course, plenty of flights operating around Hawaii, with helicopter tours also being popular on Oahu and Hawaii Island.
The following Hawaii airports are featured on our flight listings from the UK. Please note that this list is being upgraded regularly. If you have any questions about finding flghts to Hawaii, or any other US State, please do not hesitate to ask in our forum.
Cities in the list below do not necessarily have direct flights from the UK.
