Miami or Orlando? Or how about both?

There is considerable debate amongst regular visitors to Florida about whether Miami or Orlando is the best destination in which to soak up all that year-round sunshine. We'll leave that debate to our forum, although we have to admit that our bias leans heavily towards Miami.

We provide further details about finding flights to each city in their respective summary pages, but the key thing to bear in mind is that Miami is much more of a scheduled airline hub city, whereas there are always plenty of options for both scheduled and charter flights to Orlando.

If you have the time, why not explore both destinations, and take advantage of an open jaw ticket? Both British Airways and Virgin Atlantic offer flights from London to Miami and Orlando. British Airways' partnership with American Airlines, who also have a major hub in Miami, allows for numerous connection opportunities with other cities in Florida and beyond.
