Visiting the Bahamas from Florida

The closest of the Bahamas islands sits just 50 miles off the southern coast of Florida, making daytrip excursions a tempting possibility. Sadly, seaplane flights to the Bahamas are not currently available (see our flights to Nassau page for more details about this), but there are various daily cruise packages in operation from both Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
