In addition to Ryanair’s well established cheap flights to Dublin from Leeds Bradford, last May saw the Irish regional specialist Aer Arran open up new flights to Galway and Cork. Whilst most domestic routes from Leeds are operated by just one airline, Flybe and Jet2 compete keenly with each other on flights to Belfast (Flybe to George Best City and Jet2 to International). Although Leeds Bradford airport does offer a reasonable amount of choice on its Irish route network, is always worth looking at flights from Manchester as well, where the route network and frequencies are far more substantial.
