East Midlands airport might be situated between three major cities - Nottingham, Derby and Leicester - but it isn't actually particularly close to any of them. The airport currently has no train links, and although there are plenty of local and national bus services available, we wouldn’t recommend travelling to East Midlands airport by public transport if you can avoid it.
