Coventry Airport Parking

Airport parking at Coventry has become a lot easier since the local authority gave approval for the construction of a car park outside the terminal building. Before this, passengers had to park in the nearby village of Baginton, and take a shuttle bus to get to the terminal. All official Coventry airport parking is now within easy walking distance of the terminal.
Can I leave my car at home, or am I better off parking it at Coventry airport?
A regular shuttle bus provides links between Coventry airport and the city centre, including Coventry railway station and the central bus station at Pool Meadow. Although the frequency and timing of the service has improved considerably since it was first introduced, public transport links to Coventry airport will never match those which are available to large airports such as nearby Birmingham. Driving is probably the most convenient way to get to and from Coventry airport.
Bottlenecks to watch out for near Coventry airport
The major road bottleneck near Coventry airport is the Tollbar island, which sits at the eastern end of the airport's runway. This massive roundabout is the main junction between the A45, the A46 and the local A423, which runs into the centre of Coventry. Traffic bombs across the island, even during busy periods, so crossing Tollbar can be an intimidating experience unless you are a confident driver.
