Cheap flights to Ireland from Belfast City Airport

The relative proximity of major Irish destinations such as Dublin, combined with a lack of suitable demand for flights to smaller hubs such as Shannon or Kerry, make flights to the Republic of Ireland from Belfast relatively few and far between. Having said that, Aer Arran do at least offer a couple of daily flights to Cork from Belfast City. There are no flights to the Republic from Belfast International.
Passengers looking for flights to Dublin from Belfast should note that they are only just over 100 miles apart (city centre to city centre), so there is little chance of flights between the two cities ever taking off. Regular coach and train services operate between the two cities -- if you are looking for a transfer to Dublin airport, then the coach is usually a much better option, as many of these services stop at Dublin airport, which is to the North of the city, on the way to the centre of Dublin.
