All direct flights to Antalya from the UK & Ireland

Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern day Turkey, claimed that Antalya was "without doubt the most beautiful place in the world", and it would appear that the ever increasing numbers of tourists visiting the region share his sentiments.
Although there are no British airlines offering scheduled flights to Antalya, both Turkish Airlines (codeshare with Sun Express) and Kibris Turkish offer scheduled flights to Antalya from a range of London airports. Outside the summer season, when direct flights to Antalya are harder to find, there are plenty of connections via Istanbul, or other European cities. There is a particularly large Turkish population in Germany, so there is a huge range of flights available between the two countries ' worth knowing if you are struggling to find direct flights from the UK.
Antalya airport is one of the busiest in the Mediterranean, featuring one domestic and two international terminals. The airport is in the relatively rare position of having two international terminals operated by different companies (the German airport operator Fraport and the IC Group), although this arrangement moves to a joint-venture between the two partners from September 2009 onwards.
At present, this terminal management arrangement has not led to any budget airlines starting cheap flights to Antalya from the UK, although there are already plenty of no-frills flights to Antalya from Germany, operated by various budget and leisure airlines.
It remains to be seen whether or not any no-frills airlines will decide to offer cheap Antalya flights from the UK - the demand is clearly there, but the distance is well beyond any routes which they currently offer. Flights to Antalya have traditionally only been operated on a seasonal basis, but this is becoming less of an issue for the major budget players.
