Most flights to Slovenia from the UK operate to Brnik airport, which sits in a fairly central location just to the north of the capital Ljubljana. A very limited range of charter flights to Maribor operates during the ski season. There are also several cities in neighbouring countries which are very close to Slovenia’s borders - Trieste airport is to the south-west in Italy; the Croatian capital Zagreb is to the east, and the Austrian airports of Graz and Klagenfurt are both just to the north.
