I think Lodz can often be a useful alternative to Warsaw, especially as it is a relatively short train journey to the Polish capital. Would be useful for people in Glasgow to have a Ryanair route from Prestwick aswell, although their focus seems to be more on Edinburgh.

  Warsaw is the one airport in Poland that has no Ryanair flights, although there are still a good range of flights to Warsaw with other airlines, especially with Wizzair, who as it happens also serve the Polish capital from Prestwick.
  
  Remember that Poland is still an emerging market, so many routes only operate a few times each week. It would be far more likely for Ryanair to add frequency than to add a new route from Prestwick, especially as Edinburgh has more of an inbound market.

I wonder if some of these Lodz flights will suffer when Modlin airport finally gets going. Wizzair have confirmed they will move their flights to Warsaw into the new airport.

All Ryanair have done so far is add Modlin as one of the destinations they will serve from Budapest, following the collapse of Malev. Surely other routes will follow, and Lodz may suffer?
