Palanga International is the third largest airport in Lithuania. It serves the picturesque resort of Palanga as well as the country's main port, Klaipeda. The Lithuanian airline FlyLal operated flights to Palanga from London Stansted and Dublin during the summer 2008 season but went bust in January 2009. As a result of FlyLal's demise, there are currently no direct flights to Palanga from the UK. Conecting flights to Palanga are available with SAS via Copenhagen.
