I think this is a great shame, and even more so because I've always been fascinated by film locations, and crime capers don't get any better than the Italian job. You can still take an Italian job tour of Turin if you like, but trust me -- it is a niche market, and I'm afraid the yoof of today have seen that horrible remake which doesn't go anywhere near Turin. The centre of Turin itself is remarkably intact, and all those covered arcades really do make it a wonderful place to stroll around. Then you have the former Fiat factory used in the car chase scenes there is now the Lignotto commercial complex, together with Nervi's sports Palace, which is another great piece of more than Italian design.
So to answer your question, I'm afraid not -- I could even go as far as saying that Turin is my favourite Italian city, but it won't change the fact that the only decent regular year-round flights to Turin from London. However, there is little point in searching for flight connections from other regional airports -- these could turn out to be a very expensive way of getting there. It is much easier just to look for flights to Milan instead (and with three airports to choose from, you are bound to find something). Trains between Milan and Turin only take just over an hour, but add-on the same again to get whichever airport you land at to Centrale Station.
