James Says

Despite Naples Airport being operated by the British Airports Authority, attempts to get more direct flights from the UK to Naples have been much less successful than they have to other Italian cities. Following on from existing flights to Naples launched by partner airline HLX, TUI's budget airline Thomsonfly launched flights to Naples from its first base in Coventry, but these only lasted one summer. Easyjet have a strong presence in Naples, operating flights there from several of their European bases, as well as from London. Adding flights to Naples from their other UK bases would be a logical extension of their network. In the meantime, plenty of domestic flights to Naples are available from within Italy, although neither Rome nor Milan are well connected to the UK regions. Lufthansa offer the most regular connecting flights to Naples from any city outside Italy, but even these depart from their secondary hub at Munich, which is not so well served by inbound flights in the UK. Daily connecting flights to Naples are available via Paris. Alternatively, Naples is reasonably easy to reach by train from Rome, which has much better links with the UK.
