Corsica flights summary: Corsica has always been a very important destination for domestic flights within France, but until recently, flights from the UK would generally only be available on a summer charter basis. This has all changed now British Airways have started flights to Ajaccio and Bastia. The other main airports in Corsica can be reached via Paris, although many of these flights to Corsica depart from Orly (which is not well connected with British cities) rather than Charles de Gaulle airport. Sometimes it is easier to find connecting flights to Corsica via another French cities such as Marseille or Lyon. Alternatively, more budget minded travellers might want to head to Nice, or to take advantage of the rapid expansion of cheap flights to Marseille from the UK, and then continue on to Corsica by ferry.
