More suggestions for finding cheap flights to Bordeaux
Over the last year, additional competition on cheap flights to Bordeaux has been brought in by both Easyjet (Bristol, London Luton) and Flybe (Norwich, Southampton).
Connecting flights and alternatives: Air France offer plenty of flight connections to Bordeaux via Paris, but these can be considerably more expensive than a direct flight. If your local airport doesn't offer cheap flights to Bordeaux, then it might be worth looking at flights to Bergerac or Toulouse instead, although neither of these options could be considered close to Bordeaux.
It is also possible to reach Bordeaux by train from Paris, although services are nothing like as fast as they are to destinations such as Lyon or Marseille, which are on the high-speed TGV-Sud line. The fastest trains from Paris (Gare Montparnasse) to Bordeaux take just over three hours.
