VLM can offer feeder connections via London from Manchester and Liverpool, whereas from many other parts of the UK, it is easier to find flights to Brussels, and make onward connections from there.

Note that although there are trains from Brussels airport to Antwerp, these have to crawl through the three stations in Brussels city centre first, making the coach a much better option for getting from Zaventem to Antwerp. Whilst Eurostar offer the advantage of free onward rail travel within Belgium, the option of connecting trains from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is also worth exploring.
