Ryanair currently operate three weekly flights to Klagenfurt. Previously, the airline operated twice-daily Klagenfurt flights, but this route was then withdrawn after the airport’s initial route subsidies ran out. The Austrian airline Styrian Spirit had stepped into offer Klagenfurt flights from Luton, but these proved to be unsuccessful, prompting Ryanair to eventually return to this route, even if at a lower frequency.

There aren't any particularly obvious alternatives to Ryanair's Klagenfurt flights - Austrian Airlines offer connecting flights via Vienna, but this is a long and expensive way round. If you consider Stansted to be too far out of the way, then it might be worth looking at flights to Salzburg instead, but allow plenty of time to a transfer by land towards Klagenfurt.
