James Says

The range of flight connections to Tirana has improved somewhat in recent years, with Austrian Airways (via Vienna) and Lufthansa (usually via Munich) offering a reasonably high frequency of service. You might also find connections with Alitalia via Rome, Adria Airways via Ljubljana, or the Hungarian airline Malev via Budapest. These can all offer reasonable savings over British Airways, who tend to be able to charge a premium for direct flights on this route. We've seen mid-summer prices for British Airways' Tirana flights going for above £400 - the kind of price you might expect to pay for flights to Los Angeles or San Francisco!
It is also worth noting that it is easy to reach Albania via Italian sea ports such as Bari or Brindisi.

Flightmapping.com Flightmapping.com

@Jodatu I don't think they've got that far yet! Not seen any suggestion about who would actually own or operate the trains

@Jodatu i.e. their projections were wrong, but because of the bias, they used up that 'allownce' and came in 'on time'
