The journey takes around 1.5 hours, and costs from just 10 UAE Dirhams (approximately £2). There are several different operators, and each uses its own different bus station. You will also need to allow for transfers between the airport and the bus stations, although there is also a coach service operated by Etihad from Abu Dhabi airport to downtown Dubai.
