Unlike other regional cities in Bangladesh, Chittagong does at least offer a reasonable choice of through tickets from the UK. Connecting flights to Chittagong will still usually need to be made through Dhaka, but online consolidators do tend to offer a reasonable (if not exactly cheap) selection of fares.

As many flights to Bangladesh involve an additional connection through a Middle Eastern hub such as Dubai or Doha, flights to Chittagong tend to take a great deal longer than many other destinations within Asia. However, regional connections are also available from airports such as Manchester and Birmingham, without adding significantly to the journey time.
