Although France has a stronger colonial connections with Morocco, Tangier’s geographical proximity to Spain makes Malaga a much more attractive transfer option, especially considering its huge range of flights from just about every UK airport.Alternatively, domestic flights to Tangier are available from Casablanca. Some independent travellers also choose to reach Tangier by sea, with frequent sailings available from Algeciras, near Gibraltar. Day trip tours to Tangier are also on offer from many of the resorts near Malaga.
