Job description - Web developer

Having experienced year-on-year growth of 100% in 2007, with projected revenue of £250,000, we have set ourselves a target of £1 million for the calendar year 2008. We believe we can easily achieve this goal with the right web developer on our team.

You will be responsible for the technical development of Flightmapping.com, a senior role which will include managing our database and web site structure, and creating new page templates around the existing data.

Key job responsibilities:

· Providing Flightmapping.com with the technical skills it needs to increase revenue to £1 million per year in the calendar year 2008.

· Managing and improving our database structure (MSSQL database).

· Maintaining the existing page structure, and developing new page templates.

· Developing applications to encourage more user generated content.

· Ensuring the site is easy to use, fast to load, and search engine friendly.

Essential skills and attributes:

· Self motivated and able to complete projects with minimal supervision.

· MSSQL database management & ASP programming. HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript.

· Excellent time management and project management skills.

Location:

Flexible, subject to attending weekly meetings in Coventry

Salary and benefits:

£30,000 extensive bonus package (OTE £50,000)
